Jackson and I love summer and with the heat in full effect in Toronto , what better way to cool down than with a delicious homemade ‘Bluebanna Coconut Protein Popsicle’ powered by Interactive Nutrition New Zealand Whey Protein Powder. If you’re in a hurry and looking for a delicious meal to stay on plan, try my “On-The-Go Tuna Salad” from my ‪#‎StrongLikeMommy‬ ebook: Ingredients ■ 100 grams of low-sodium flaked white tuna (I use Wild Planet Wild Albacore Tuna) ■ 1⁄2 cup chopped celery ■ 1⁄2 cup chopped yellow and green peppers ■ 1⁄2 cup grated or finely chopped carrots ■ 1 chopped green onion ■ 1 tsp mustard ■ 1 tsp hot sauce ■ 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper  Directions 1. Mix all ingredients together with a fork 2. Scoop into 1-2 pieces of Rye Toast I love this recipe and is a staple in my diet giving me 30 grams of Protein, 16 grams of carbs, and 6 grams of Dietary Fats along with plenty of flexibility all fitting within the confides of my plan!

Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes!

There are lists and lists of symptoms pregnant women get but the most obvious one for me lately is my sweet tooth.  I’ve been craving something sweet on a daily bases and it’s very out of the ordinary because I usually crave more savory foods. So … instead of devouring items like chocolate, candy or tempting desserts I’ve created my own delicious breakfast dessert – Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes! They definitely satisfy my sweet tooth but also provide lean protein and fibre to sustain my hunger levels and give me the energy I need to start the day. Curried Pumpkin Soup

Yay! It’s Halloween and what better way to celebrate the festivities with a satisfying rich buttery festive soup. The pumpkin makes the soup sweet and fibrous while the curry and ginger gives it a nice kick. I love adding a fresh dollop of Greek Yogurt for the tartness to mellow out the spice and it’s also a great way to add more lean protein. This dish is packed with fibre, nutrients and is so quick and simple to make for the entire family. Serve with chicken or lean white fish a complete satisfying meal for the entire family.
