After 9 weeks of vacationing in Canada, STRONG MOMMY Carey H. (who lost an incredible 61 lbs!!!) sent an email as soon as she got back home to Australia to share with me some exciting news. Carey says, “Hi Jenny, I just had to share this with you – so I just got back from our 9 weeks holiday in Canada. I weighed myself this morning and I weigh exactly the same as the day I left for vacation! In Canada (after my photo shoot) I still prepped many of my meals and also enjoyed many free meals as it was obviously a very social holiday but I also kept up with my workouts while on holiday (because its just part of who I am now) and I have so much more energy and feel amazing. I’m so happy that I just returned from a huge holiday and came back pretty much the same weight but lifting so much more heavier weights at the gym…#STRONGGIRLS style!” By following a #maintainable and #sustainable approach to exercise …
Now that I’m almost caught up from taking some downtime from delivering my Baby Boy Jackson, I’m even more inspired by my STRONG MOMMY clients. Andrea L. absolutely kicked butt with her program and dropped 17 lbs along with shredding 5 inches around her waist, 4 inches off of her thighs, and 2 inches off of her hips. More importantly she looks phenomenal and achieved her hot body with very limited cardio work, a whole lot of carbs, and plenty of food flexibility. Andrea says, “My goal with Jenny was to loose my stubborn baby weight but, just as important, I wanted to feel strong again too. After having my son Mason, I felt weak and had aches and pains post pregnancy that I never had before so I wanted to remedy that as quickly as possible. In terms of dedication and accountability I have surprised myself. The STRONG GIRLS community has definitely helped me keep compliant and accountable. Seeing all of the other STRONG GIRLS and STRONG MOMMY’S success stories and amazing progress was …
Wrapping up my Prenatal Program with the expectancy of my Baby Boy in a few days. I cannot wait. New Postnatal Program outlined and ready for some “clanging and banging” with the heavy weights. Gosh darn I missed you. “Hey Old Me…I’m coming for you and going to kick your butt!” #KickingTheHumpDay photo by Paul Buceta MUH by Lori Fabrizio
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. I’m so proud of my client, the beautiful Karen B., who send me biweekly reports of beautiful compliance and (more importantly) embracing new and positive lifestyle habits around exercise and food. In 8 short weeks we have significant tightening up and even an outrageous 5 inches lost around her hips and 4 inches around her arms…and she’s still going strong! Karen says, “I love my program Jenny! I have seen more results with you in 8 weeks than the past few years trying to do this on my own!” This STRONG GIRL is enjoying a bevy of food and is kicking butt with her workouts. I can’t wait to share more of her progress!
Last week I got Katrina T. to come over for a visit so we can capture some progress photos and was she ever sizzling hot!!! This competitive Football player came to me looking to tighten up and learn some new things about nutrition and break the “dieting” mindset of avoiding certain foods. We put together a strategy with plenty of food flexibility and higher food intake to fuel this her very active lifestyle as a competitive athlete. As we made progress, we opened up even more food flexibility and freed her from “Dieting Prison”. This STRONG GIRL shredded almost 4 inches around her waist, 3 inches from her hips, and dropped 10 (insignificant) lbs and looks GORGEOUS!!! Love those abs! I can’t wait to share more of Katrina’s journey (and beautiful photos) coming soon!!!
TEAM STRONG GIRLS Biweekly Progress Leaner, leaner, and leaner. That’s exactly what’s happening to the gorgeous Lori-Ann M. as she continues kicking some serious Bootay! A few off plan meals over the holidays? No problem. Free Meal on the weekends? Sure. Carbs? You betcha. Ice Cream after her workouts? Yes Ma’am. This STRONG MOMMY is the epitome of consistent and she is loving the changes in her physique! I can’t wait to get this beautiful lady in front of the camera to capture some progress pictures and truly show off her progress! So proud of you Lori-Ann! You are my Monday Motivation and I am going to go train right now…
Weight Training 4x/week with 3 short HIIT sessions/week, plenty of food flexibility (and carbs), and enjoying the Christmas Holidays with family and loved ones resulting in 46 lbs (!!!) lost to date. Wowzers. Even better, this STRONG MOMMY from Australia has shredded an insane 14 inches around her belly button and 9 inches off of her hips…and she’s still going strong with a healthy, flexible, and sensible (and SANE) approach to Dieting. So proud of you Carey! I can’t wait to show off more of her progress! #MondayMorningMotivation
In 2014, I started off with the honour of being chosen in the Top 10 for The Inside Fitness Hot&Fit 100. This was certainly a highlight for me, both personally and professionally, to be recognized amongst my peers and also other individuals that have inspired me in the Fitness Industry. This year is beginning very differently as I enter 2015 with the miraculous blessing of becoming a Mommy for the very first time. I couldn’t feel anymore happier and thankful for what lies ahead. I cannot wait to meet my Little Bean. – As always, thank you to Under Armour for supplying me with the very best athletic wear. When my clients check-in with me, usually they’re so fixated on the scale as a measure of success or failure. Quite often (when compliance is high), there are so many other wonderful victories that are far more important to highlight such as: i) better overall health ii) more energy iii) looser pants iv) look better in clothes v) strength vi) tighter and leaner looking physique vii) looser rings viii) healthier and responsible eating habits ix) compliments x) and (even better) MORE compliments! (you’ll only understand this if you’ve been compliant) To me, the scale tells us our relationship to gravity…and not much more than that. It is one piece of analysis that I use to gauge dieting success. Without a doubt, the NON-SCALE VICTORIES are much more amazing than the number in-between our feet.
