Inside Fitness Hot and Fit 100

I’m ecstatic to be a part of this year’s Hot and Fit 100’s Top 3! This time every year I look forward to seeing friends, colleagues, new faces, and other Fitness Professionals (that I greatly admire) grace the pages of Inside Fitness’ annual event and the issues just get better and better! A heartfelt congratulations to everyone featured! I am so honoured taking a place within this incredibly gorgeous and inspiring group of women especially since I took some time off from partaking in any photo shoots and events last year due to pregnancy so this recognition is extra special to me (thank you Arthur Kwiatkowski and Valeria Nova for the awesome images!). A Lesson Learned From Time Spent In The Gym…

If there’s one thing I learned in the Fitness Industry (both from personal experience and my peers) is to always see the time spent at the gym as an opportunity to inspire others and also raise the intensity of other people’s workouts around you. Of course you might have some in your circles purposely trying to derail you or talk you out of your goals (by the way you really should be limiting, or downright eliminating, time spent with these types of people) but be confident in knowing that deep down these people secretly wish they can do what you are trying to do. You are in the right! They are not. By bringing your absolute best into the gym, on a consistent basis, you’ll also bring out the best of the people around you. ‪

STRONG LIKE MOMMY Biweekly Progress – Ana G.

‪#‎PantsStory‬ – My favourite story of them all! STRONG MOMMY Ana G. kindly shares some of her progress with her teammates and reminding them to trust the process and stay committed to their goals. STRONG GIRLS rule! Love it! With over 20 lbs lost along with 8 inches off of her thighs, 5 inches off of her hips, and 5 inches shredded from her belly button, Ana is clearly in need of some new jeans to show off her sexy, hot body! I can’t wait to share more of Ana’s journey! I’m so gosh darn proud of her!

TEAM STRONG GIRLS Success Story – Carey H.

I’m so proud to be a part of Carey H’s fitness journey. She came to me looking to loose weight after the birth of her 2nd baby and she has achieved so much more than that. Carey came to me very active but only relying on cardiovascular based exercise and she was disheartened because the weight kept creeping upwards so we put together a strategy that had us focusing more on resistance training (beginning with “at home” workouts and eventually transitioning to the gym) for the purpose of strength and shaping her muscles along with a diet that was calculated for her and her goals. We certainly didn’t restrict foods as my main focus was strengthening her metabolism because once we established this, then everything else would fall into place. This STRONG MOMMY was tightening up, enjoying plenty of food and food options, getting stronger, having more energy/vibrancy, loving life, and embracing fitness as a lifestyle. Buh Bye Mummy Tummy – TEAM STRONG GIRLS Nicole R.

Diastasis Recti is defined as the separation of the rectus abdominis muscles into 2 halves and is very common with pregnant and postpartum women. To some, this is also known as “mummy tummy” and the good news is…it’s FIXABLE! A few months ago I worked with STRONG MOMMY Nicole R. who came to me looking to lean out and get into better shape. More specifically she said she “wanted to get rid of her Mommy Pooch and have a flatter stomach, definition in her abs, and a smaller waist”. Nicole says, “I came to Coach Jenny after having had 3 children in 5 years.
