Overnight Raspberry Vanilla Protein Oats

If you are in a hurry in the morning as the majority of us are … you have to try my overnight oats! I love making 2-3 mason jars ahead of time and storing them in the fridge for a super fast grab and go breakfast. Even though my little guy can’t have any yet, I’m sure older kiddos would love them. Get the kids involved and let them make their own mason jar. It’s a fun project and if you have fussy kids you could save a lot of struggle and time in the morning. Ingredients: 1 Cup Quick Oats by Kii Naturals line 1 Scoop Vanilla New Zealand Whey Isolate Protein Powder  2 tbsp Stevia 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt 0-2% Fat 1 cup Raspberries 3/4 cup Unsweetened Almond or Cashew Milk 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract How to Make: In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients together. No Crust Chicken and Spinach Quiches

These quick and easy quiches are perfect to make ahead of time so you don’t skip breakfast (bid no no!). I make these a couple days before and store in the  fridge for up tp 4 days. I personally have 4 for breakfast with a side of toast or oatmeal. Reheat the quiches for 10-15 seconds in the micro wave or 1 minute in the toaster oven, a splash of hot sauce and they are good to go. Strong Mommy Breakfast 

Now that I have even less time as a #NewMommy, breakfast has to be incredibly quick and simple. I make these pancakes in threes and store in the fridge for a quick grab and go in the morning. I often have a second one as a meal or post workout too. Ingredients: 1/2 cup Oatmeal  1/2 cup Egg Whites  Sprinkle of Cinnamon  1-2 tbsp Ground Chia Seeds  Packet of stevia (optional)  1/4 cup Greek Yogurt (2%)  1/2 cup Pineapple  1 tbsp organic Maple Syrup  How to make:  Combine oatmeal, egg whites, cinnamon, stevia  in a bowl and mix until combined.  Heat half a tablespoon of coconut in a nonstick pan on medium heat. Pour mixture in the pan, cook each side for 3-4 minutes. Combine Greek Yogurt and Maple Syrup, mix until smooth.  Scoop Greek Yogurt and pineapple (or another fruit you like) on top of the pancake and EAT! 🙂    

Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes!

There are lists and lists of symptoms pregnant women get but the most obvious one for me lately is my sweet tooth.  I’ve been craving something sweet on a daily bases and it’s very out of the ordinary because I usually crave more savory foods. So … instead of devouring items like chocolate, candy or tempting desserts I’ve created my own delicious breakfast dessert – Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes! They definitely satisfy my sweet tooth but also provide lean protein and fibre to sustain my hunger levels and give me the energy I need to start the day. Baby Bean and Mommy are Happy Campers! 🙂 Ingredients: 5 Egg Whites + 1 Whole Egg 40 g Oats 40 g Banana 25 g Semisweet Dark Chocolate Chips 1-2 Packets of Stevia 1 tbsp Organic Maple Syrup Cinnamon to taste 1 tbsp Coconut Oil    How to make:  Blend all ingredients in a blender – 30 seconds (except banana and chocolate chips)  Add banana and chocolate chips to batter and mix until combined Heat coconut oil …
