WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR?

A few days ago I wrote about the most common area people are frustrated with in life – being stuck where you current are and where you actually want to be in life.
This is, easily, the biggest obstacle many people face regularly and it’s no different when it comes to your fitness goals where many of my own clients struggle with the same issues such as:
– “I want abs…BUT…don’t eat like it on the weekends.”
– “I want to be fit…BUT…am only on plan when it suits me.”
– “I want to be healthy…BUT…succumb to eating junk food frequently.”
– “I want to be happy…BUT…let others make decisions for me, never standing up for my own beliefs.”
– “I want to be strong…BUT…often compare myself to others, feeling inferior.”
– “I want to be accomplished…BUT…am often distracted doing things that do not better my life.”
So how do we overcome this? Of course all of this boils down to clearly knowing who we are and who we want to become…but…also not doing what’s absolutely necessary to achieve that.
My own clients often ask me how I get through my day as a new mommy, managing a continuously growing business (and growing it even more), how I constantly set new goals for myself, and still enjoying my life.
For me, I regularly ask myself a few questions periodically to make sure my how I see myself and how I want others to see me are reflected in my brand.
1) Who am I and what do I want to achieve?
2) How do I want others to see me?
(stop asking yourself other questions as it only brings upon doubt)
These simple questions allow me to keep my vision and the standards that I want to live by crystal clear with no distractions whatsoever.
These standards are reflected in my brand which allows me to authentically connect with people. More importantly, there is no conflict in my life as I’m confident in my choices, driven by my vision and motivated by the people I meet – especially the ones I work with.
Now…what do you REALLY stand for?
