I can’t remember if this photo was a sunset or sunrise? However I do remember that this was one of my favourite things to do when I visited Seattle last November in an event filled weekend trip to the west coast to visit some of my clients.
Watching the sky, with my Starbucks coffee from Pike Place in hand, overlooking the water of the Salish Sea, and standing next to my hubby was an extremely peaceful moment allowing me to just unwind, relax, and appreciate life along with life’s challenges.
At least once a day, I like to take a moment of mental downtime to reset from stress and fill my head with nothing but positive thoughts.
“APPRECIATION IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF PRAYER FOR IT ACKNOWLEDGES THE PRESENCE OF GOOD WHEREVER YOU SHINE THE LIGHT OF YOUR THANKFUL THOUGHTS.”
– Alan Cohen (author of Chicken Soup for the Soul)
