A little over 3 months ago, my client Cher D. (Super Mom of 2 and Owner of FemFab Canada), came to me last October to get into the best shape of her life before her 40th birthday. Already in great condition and tiny to begin with, she was looking to put on a little more muscle and shape overall.
Cher was already incredibly active for years with distance running and countless conditioning classes so our strategy to build muscle was to move away from aerobic work and into more Resistance Training principals. Like most people she was also grossly under eating for all of her high output activities thus slowing her metabolism down even more.
Fast forward to today, after kicking butt in the weight room and eating more food strategized for her and her goals, she is looking strong and breathtaking.
