The best way to set yourself up for failure when you start dieting discussions with your coach is to begin your sentence like this:
“I want to lose weight BUT…(insert a variety of can’t and won’t here)”
In most cases, successfully dieting is probably the opposite of what you’re doing (over eating, under eating, eating the wrong things, etc.) and remember dieting is only a phase. It’s not long term and once you get to your goal implementing more food (and a variety of it) is the transition back to the “non dieting” phase.
