Beyond Fitness and Nutrition…there are other layers of health.

This page is dedicated to Fitness and Nutrition because that is my speciality. One the things that is commonly overlooked is Health and Wellness and I, myself, have been guilty of that. 

Today I got to visit my good friend, Dr.Aubrey Green, who is an expert in that field. I’m very honoured to be one of his patients as he treats a huge roster of some of the very best Professional Athletes in the world.

I’ve been having some very mild knee and hip issues and I thought it was due to my training style and continued to ignore the problem for months. Thankfully I mentioned this to Aubrey’s wife, who is one of my best friends, and he quickly assessed my body and posture. As it turns out, I have collapsing arches and Aubrey quickly identified that I need orthotics. 

While eating right and working out is a very important aspect in your health, we are all so easily prone to injuries that may not manifest itself fully until later on. These injuries are common to both active and sedentary lifestyles. The bottom line is LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. Maximizing your life and your health is also about injury assessment, prevention, and healing.
