This isn’t exactly a fitness shot but it is another gorgeous image shot by my dear friend, photographer extraordinaire Mark Bradfield, in the Mayan Riviera at my wedding last May.
I’m currently working with a few soon-to-be brides and I can’t express how happy I am for each and every one of you. Mark is sending me images from the most cherished week of my life and I started reminiscing about my last year leading up to my big day.
With all of the planning that goes into the actual wedding, the pressure of getting all of your workouts in and eating precisely on plan (to fit into that dress) can be very overwhelming. Instead of looking too far ahead and stressing about whether or not you’re going to look perfect (you will, I assure you), look at completing each workout and taking in every single meal as tiny victories. Take it day by day.
Appreciate every single second of your engagement because, in a flash, the best day of your life will have come and gone. Those moments of anxiety will be nothing compared to the sheer bliss you’re going to feel on YOUR DAY THAT YOU’LL REMEMBER FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
– for the record I only had 1 little Bridezilla moment because I forgot to meet my DJ in Mexico. I’m thankful for my calm hubby
