When I put together a program for a client, it is constructed based on their own i) personal goals, ii) their health, iii) around any injuries, iv) their fitness experience, v) their nutrition history and habits, vi) their lifestyle and schedule, vii) food sensitivities, and viii) food likes and dislikes. This is followed up with biweekly check-ins to monitor progress and to make adjustments when necessary.

Unfortunately medication can now be recommended through a television commercial without even seeing a Medical Professional nowadays.
It doesn’t hurt to do your own research on why something is not functioning properly in your body before defaulting to Over-The-Counter medication.
