Almost 3 months ago I had the privilege of working with Colleen Bernal (age 35 and mother of one), with a focus on losing some body fat and a change in her regular fitness program. Look at her now – she looks drop dead gorgeous and ultra fit!
I am ecstatic to showcase her transformation. Starting with me at a weight of 140 lbs and, while already exceptionally fit, she was struggling to get below that weight and make any real gains or progress.
After working with me, I am so happy to share her 13 lbs weight loss now weighing in at 127 lbs! Colleen tightened up everywhere losing 4 inches around her waist, 3 inches around her hips, and 3 inches around each thigh. Aside from the massive improvement in the mid-section, look at the definition in her arms and shoulders too!
Colleen says, “I love the change in my body! Since finishing the JVB program, my favorite body part is my new abs. My stomach really hasn’t been this flat since I had my daughter and the compliments have been non-stop too. The best compliment I got was from a friend I hadn’t seen in a while who kept telling me how different I looked and that my pants were hanging off of me!”
One of the biggest changes I implemented into Colleen’s lifestyle was portion control for her weight, proper consumption of macronutrients, more weight training, and doing less cardio (as she is a marathon runner).
She also adds, “I feel much healthier and have more energy than when I started the program. I recommend coach JVB to anyone who is serious about making changes their fitness and nutrition!”
With more muscle, less weight, less body fat, and more energy, I know I’m going to see improvements in Colleen’s marathon times to go along with her “SMOKIN’ HOT MAMA” body 🙂
