So you eat healthy but you’re still gaining weight?

I hear this from my clients all the time – “I eat clean (or healthy) but I’m still gaining weight and I don’t know why?”

So is it possible to gain weight while eating healthy food? The answer is – YES YOU CAN GAIN WEIGHT BY EATING HEALTHY! If you’re eating too many calories for your body weight of anything (healthy or non-healthy), you will gain weight.

As my friends from MMT Online Training and Nutrition said yesterday on their Facebook page: “It comes down to calories in versus calories out. You could lose fat on a Twinkie diet (but I don’t recommend it) so long as your calories are set to be eating at a deficit. 

Quantity overrides quality.
